Essay structure and flow (S2.06) In-Person
This workshop aims to help you understand what makes an essay ‘flow’. The workshop emphasises the importance of writing with the reader in mind. It offers some strategies for improving essay flow and provides brief exercises to practise these.
By the end of this workshop you will:
1. Understand the importance of paragraphs for readers
2. Recognise and use different forms of ‘signposting’
3. Apply principles of clarity and consistency in writing style
